Viv White holds a B. Ed 2.1. Art and this is her main subject.  She has also had a range of full time teaching posts in a variety of settings including primary, secondary and special schools. Most recently Head of Draycott and Rodney Stoke CE first School, January 1996-July 2007.  In addition she has been involved in Art  education across the county both as a teacher and advisor including

•  Advisory teacher for Art
• Consultancy work for a range of schools (Delivering model lessons and INSET)
• Training teachers and teaching assistants

ART CAREER

She is an experienced textile/mixed media artist and exhibits regularly in Somerset Arts Week, and galleries in the south west and her work has been featured in books and magazines.  She has a wide experience of managing and teaching arts activities with both children and adults.  She is also a tutor for Distant Stitch.
