Welcome to our 2009 programme.

Welcome to our 2009 brochure which is an enticing mixture of the old and new. The latter includes the first of our series of authors’ workshops and we are very pleased that the renowned and popular travel writer Rory MacLean has agreed to deliver our first session in May.

Other new or revived courses include Mah-Jongg, Folk Guitar, Shaker Boxes, Greek for Beginners, Woodblock Printmaking and Art Treasures from China’s Royal Tombs. We also welcome The Scottish Piping Society of London and the Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar Federation. Sounds like fun!

2009 also sees the return of Art in The Garden with its popular mixture of sculpture displays and creative workshops.

So whatever your interest there is sure to be something to capture your imagination. As always, early booking is recommended, particularly for our popular favourites. We look forward to welcoming you, your friends and families to Urchfont. You can get in touch by telephone, email or letter.
