Professor William Manning: Emeritus Professor of Roman Archaeology, Cardiff University.  He has undertaken large scale excavations in South Wales and at various sites in the south of England.  He has travelled widely in the countries of the Roman world and has acted as guest lecturer on many tours for Urchfont Manor and other organisations.
