Jan is a primary school teacher. She achieved the City and Guilds Creative Embroidery 7900 Parts 1 and 2 in 1995 and has been teaching Creative Textiles since then.  She is also a highly experienced Bobbin Lace Maker and tutor.  She has been combining these skills to help Textile artists to develop new imaginative avenues for their work. Jan aims to encourage students to ‘have a go’ at new creative techniques and to enjoy the processes.  Jan teaches weekly NcFe Textile classes and recreational Bobbin Lace classes as well as freelance teaching and lecturing around the country.
