Maureen has been bookbinding for over 50 years.  She is well known internationally as a forward thinking advocate of craft bookbinding and has been both Chairman and President of the Society of Bookbinders.

Maureen retired as Course Director of Bookbinding at Guildford College and has been a tutor at Urchfont for a number of years.  She works with The Society of Archivists and other professional organisations.  As a demonstrator and teacher she is known worldwide; a biography and DVD have been published recently.
