Hazel is an experienced embroiderer and tutor with a City & Guilds Certificate in Embroidery & Design and was Chairman of the Computer Textile Design Group for many years.

She also develops and teaches computer graphics for creative design, machine embroidery software and machine embroidery. She exhibits her work widely and is author of Screen to Fabric and articles for several magazines.
