Arne Brattland was born in northern Norway. He studied guitar at the Norwegian State Academy, Oslo and later in London. Since his Wigmore Hall debut he has performed in many parts of the world and issued several CDs. Arne is known particularly for his arrangements and interpretations of Grieg’s Lyric Pieces. He is an active member of several ensembles.
