From glittering golden grave goods to the flashing blades of Iron Age warriors, metal played a pivotal role in the lives of our prehistoric ancestors.  Recent archaeological discoveries have produced dramatic new insights into the impact of this magical new substance.  This course explores the world of Bronze and Iron Age Britons and includes a fieldtrip to Danebury Hillfort, Andover Museum of the Iron Age, Winterbourne Stoke Barrow Cemetery and Wiltshire Heritage Museum, Devizes.
