You will learn how to use the sculptural qualities of sinamay, the fashion industry’s favourite millinery. This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners or as a follow up to the one held in April.  If you attend as a complete beginner then you will get the chance to work with the fashion industry’s favourite fabric, sinamay, to make a fascinator base and decorate it with your own choice of sinamay swirls and different types of feather.  Or you can choose to make other styles ranging from a simple bow to an elaborate arrangement of sinamay loops.  As a follow-up to the April workshop or for those with previous experience there will be the opportunity to learn new techniques and to use your own imagination to create larger and more sophisticated styles of fascinator.
