MEDITATION TO QUIETEN THE MIND: D101001

D101001 Saturday 2 October Tutor: John Preston

Meditation is an effective way of counteracting stress and increasing the sense of personal well-being. The day has been designed for those who have not meditated before or who have only limited experience. Sessions will include periods of seated practice (10-20 minutes) using ordinary chairs. No special postures are used. There will be ample time to discuss practice within a supportive environment. This course can be done in conjunction with "Introducing Buddhism" running the next day or indeed alone. All are welcome.
