COLOUR THEORY, THERAPY, AND THE PSYCHOLOGY OF COLOUR FOR INTERIOR DECORATION: D101105

Saturday 20 November Tutor: Lesley Watson

DAY TWO

This is day two of a very practical interior design workshop where you will gain confidence in your own personal style and choices and learn how to create individual schemes to suite you, and your home.  Each day is complete in its own right but as a pair will provide a good understanding of the full interior design process and an in depth knowledge of the use of colour.

Day one is Friday 19th November

Colour is the first and most important means of creating a relaxed harmonious space in which to live.  It can transform, uplift and change an atmosphere.  We use it in every part of our lives, in materials, fabrics and paints.  The day starts with basic colour theory including light and the colour spectrum, and moves on to a more in depth look at the psychological and physiological effects that colour has on us all.  This day aims to provide students with enough knowledge to create not just varied and interesting schemes, but also ones which will support their own individual physical and mental well being, thereby resulting in healthy, uplifting and inspiring homes which reflect their lifestyle and personality.

Fee £40
