Please note: completing the booking forms or enquiring online does not guarantee you a place on your chosen course. If there are enough places available you will receive a confirmation from us.
What if I Need to Cancel?
Fees for day schools and special events are payable in full on booking and are non returnable and non-transferable. A deposit is required for residential courses. Deposits are non-returnable and non-transferable.
The balance of your fee is due four weeks before the start of the course. Fees are non-returnable and non-transferable if you cancel within this four week period.
We suggest that you take out your own insurance in case you have to cancel through ill health or other unforeseen circumstances.
Assisted Places for Residential Courses
Urchfont has a small bursary fund to assist those on very low incomes. If you are in receipt of state benefits, other than state retirement benefit, and this is your sole source of income and would like to apply for assistance, then please telephone for details. Please note that the concession is only open to residents of Wiltshire and is offered on a first come first served basis.
Advanced Bookings
Advanced bookings are a source of considerable debate here at Urchfont. We love it when courses are so popular that people want to book again, and again. On the other hand, advanced bookings often mean that it’s almost impossible to get a place on the next course unless you are already doing the current one. There’s the obvious danger that courses turn into private groups. So we now no longer accept advanced bookings you will only be able to book a course if it is the current brochure or posted on our website. It will be first come first served. If we have over subscribed courses then we promise to do everything we can to make sure that no one misses out.
