Location

Urchfont Manor is situated in one of the most beautiful and historic parts of England, in a peaceful rural setting near to the market town of Devizes, famous for the flight of 29 locks on the Kennet and Avon canal. We are within easy reach of Stonehenge and Avebury stone circles as well as the World Heritage City of Bath.

Wiltshire is famous for the number of white horses in the landscape, which is stunning and varied: with chalk downland to wooded copses, wonderful river and hill walking & hiking along The Ridgeway, as well as world class historical monuments and neolithic sites such as the West Kennet long barrow . Longleat Safari Park, the cathedral city at Salisbury and Lacock Abbey are all close by.
