RESTRICTED MOBILITY?
Many of our buildings are fully accessible and we now have accessible toilet facilities for day visitors in the main house and a fully accessible, ensuite bedroom for people with mobility restrictions. If you have any queries relating to these issues please ring for advice: our staff will assist visitors in every way possible.

HARD OF HEARING?
Two of our lecture rooms have induction loops for the hearing impaired: ask for information when you book.

NO SMOKING POLICY
Visitors are kindly requested to note that smoking is not allowed in any of our buildings.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Fees for day schools and special events are payable in full on booking and are non returnable and non-transferable. A deposit is required for residential courses. Deposits are non-returnable and non-transferable. The balance of your fee is due four weeks before the start of the course. Fees are non-returnable and non-transferable if you cancel within this four week period. We suggest that you take out your own insurance in case you have to cancel through ill health or other unforeseen circumstances.

ASSISTED PLACES FOR RESIDENTIAL COURSES                                          
Urchfont has a small bursary fund to assist those on very low incomes. If you are in receipt of state benefits, other than state retirement benefit, and this is your sole source of income and would like to apply for assistance, then please telephone for details. Please note that the concession is only open to residents of Wiltshire and is offered on a first come first served.

The Manor has 10 meeting rooms, dining facilities for 60, ample parking and 10 acres of grounds.  GIVE US A RING!

ADVANCED BOOKINGS
Advanced bookings are a source of considerable debate here at Urchfont. We love it when courses are so popular that people want to book again, and again.
On the other hand, advanced bookings often mean that it’s almost impossible to get a place on the next course unless you are already doing the current one. There’s the obvious danger that courses turn into private groups.
So with effect from the 2006/7 Autumn/Winter brochure we’ll be changing the system and stopping all advance bookings. From the time the next brochure hits the streets it will be first come first served. If we have over subscribed courses then we promise to do everything we can to make sure that no one misses out.
